Apprentice Program

Little Lake's Apprentice Program is a unique opportunity for aspiring theatre artists to participate in the daunting but always rewarding task of creating theatre..

In exchange for volunteering, apprentices receive backstage experience, exposure to the operation of a professional theatre, the opportunity to audition for and perform in children's theatre productions, and the opportunity to enroll in workshops prior to the acceptance of students outside of the program. Directors for the Mainstage series are encouraged to provide acting opportunities for the apprentices.  If you are at least 16 years old and have an interest in the theatre, Little Lake's Apprentice Program may be the perfect fit for you.  Please call Sunny or Rob Fitchett at 412-561-4402 or 724-745-6300 for more information.

Rachel Newman, seen here in a publicity shot from 1996's Ah, Wilderness!, is currently studying Drama at Boston University.  A Little Lake apprentice for several years, Rachel became one of the Lake's most popular performers.
