Students who will be in grades 4-12 in the fall, 2012, may enroll in either session (or both sessions.) Both camp sessions will be divided into two different age groups and training programs as described below:
GRADES 4-8
This course study will be for children who are entering grades 4-8 in the fall and are just beginning their journey in theater. Campers will receive training in character and scene work, the rehearsal process, vocal projection, movement and other skills that build stage confidence. After an overview of the teamwork it takes both onstage and behind-the-scenes to launch a successful stage production, campers will select a specific area of production work to prepare for a special Showcase Performance for family and friends.
GRADES 9-12
This advanced performance course study is designed for students who will be entering grades 9-12 in the fall. It is ideal for past campers who are eager to continue their Little Lake camp experience and enrich their acting skills, as well as for high school students who have a keen interest in intensive scene study and character work. The program will aid in the preparation for future high school and college auditions. Monologues and scene work will be presented in a Showcase Performance.
All programs are designed to provide a fun, respectful and safe environment to explore an interest in the dramatic arts. Campers will receive training from adult professionals. One of the greatest rewards of the camp is that students are given the opportunity to meet and form lasting friendships with other kids from throughout the area.
Enrollment fee: $240.00
