Rehearsal & Production

Stage Manager (to assist directors in rehearsal and performance)

Props Assistant (helps Props Manager during performances)

Lights, Sets, Costumes (In order to expand our capabilities in these areas, we’re looking for carpenters, seamstresses, electrician types, yadda yadda)

Special Projects

Play Art

Artists, teachers and assistants to develop play related art projects for group of approximately 20 children and their adult companions after 3 Looking Glass performances.

Looking Glass Theatre T-shirt sales and gift basket raffle

We need a volunteer for every LGT performance to sell T-shirts and raffle tickets.

Performance dates: Wednesdays at 11 & 1:30, Fridays & Saturdays from June 27th through August 25th.

Tea Parties Dates:  Sunday, October 7th , Sunday October 14th , & Sunday October 21st  during the run of Anne of Avonlea.

We need volunteers to help prepare tea party goodies, decorate serve and, of course, clean up.

Fall Fund Raiser on November 11th

We need volunteers to help with…

Menu planning, shopping, cooking

Decorating and UN-decorating (if you get my drift)

Gift acquisition for silent auction

Invitations and PR

Having a really good time at the fund raiser

Grant research & writing

We know the money’s out there—if you know how to get it, please help!

Public Relations

We need ideas and implementers to…

Distribute posters, postcards

Make phone calls to solicit group sales

Assist in special promotions

Do anything you can to help us fill seats

Clerical & Organizational

WE HAVE COMPUTERS—HELP!

We have lists to compile, files to file…

…errands to run, lots of fun…

…calls to make, reservations to take…

Ok, enough with the rhyming…

We need help maintaining the facility (so we need lawn boys, garden ladies, and handypersons.)

And when you’ve finished your chores, come usher and see the play.

 

Education & Outreach

Apprentice coordinators

Volunteers interested in working with teenagers who are part of our ongoing apprentice team. 

This may include recruiting, scheduling, overseeing special projects.

Help us with our efforts to reach out to schools and community groups.

Kid wranglers

 At both Looking Glass Theatre productions and during our Summer Theatre Arts Camp there are lots of kids.  ‘Nuff said.
