May 2-4; 9-12; 16-18

Our 65th Season Opening: Right out of the gate....., a deliciously camp and gleefully entertaining MUSICAL! Featuring: A not-your-gardern-variety houseplant (with a man-eating appetite) named AudreyII; Seymour, a nerdy, lovesick, skid row flower shop clerk and killer doo-wop tunes in one of the most entertaining scores ever written. A delightfully twisted romp thought the cliches of schlock B-horror movies and pop music but, fair warning: DO NOT FEED THE PLANTS.

Director Art DeConciliis, a graduate of Duquesne Unversity an ensemble that includes 11 graduates or current students of Duquesne University. Laura Barletta as Audrey, Nick Bell as Seymour, and Joey Frollo as the sadistic dentist, Orin Scrivello, are three featured actors who are reprising their roles from the 2007 Duquesne University Spotlight Musical Theatre Company production. The ensemble also features J. Brian Buckley as the Musical Director, Haley Koontz Donohue, Thomas Kurt Fuchel, Sr., Anna Gergerich, Courtney Harkins, Joyce Hinnebusch, Kevin Hinnebusch, Jeff Johnston, E. Skip Napier and musicians, Andrew Gala, Rob Fitchett and Justin Winslow.
